21 Day Challenge

21 Day ChallengeIn the spirit of making sure I stick to my New Year’s resolutions, I’ve decided to take on a 21 Day Challenge. I’m sure you’ve all heard the saying “It takes 21 days to make a habit”, which, truthfully, I’ve always found to be kind of a weird statement. I mean, what happens after only 20 days? Is it not a habit until the stroke of midnight hits then it’s suddenly become engrained in me? I don’t know. Either way, I get the general idea behind it. It takes time before habits and ways of living really become a part of who you are and second nature to you. Continue reading

Meal Prep Sunday

Meal Prep SundayI know I’ve told you guys this before, but Sundays really are my favorite day of the week. I think a majority of the reason for that is because it’s the only day out of the week that both Ed and I have off together. Because of this, we usually spend Sundays one of two ways: either doing a really fun activity like a festival or other outing or relaxing our faces off while watching Netflix and gorging on popcorn. No matter which route we choose to take, we always try to prioritize meal prep on Sundays since it makes the rest of our week much easier. Continue reading
