Hi! I’m CassyA 25 year old fitness enthusiast, food obsessor, horror movie fanatic, and pitbull lover. Oh, and wine connoisseur. And by connoisseur, I mean I drink copious amounts of it and don't actually know anything about it. That counts, right? On any given day you can find me perfecting my roasted chickpeas recipe, housing a few glasses of wine, doing speed work to up my run pace, or on a late night mission in search of frozen yogurt. Please check out my about page for more info :).

Holy crap, I can’t believe it’s been 3 months since I’ve updated my blog. I feel like a slacker in a major way. It’s a goal I’ve wanted to accomplish since 2008 and I’m so happy I can finally check it off my bucket list. Continue reading
Ever since running the Broad Street Run at the beginning of May, I’ve been looking for a half marathon in the area to tackle. After searching high and low to try to find a race, I came to one important conclusion – races are freaking expensive! Seriously, since when did it become acceptable to charge $100 just so I could run with a bunch of other people and have someone else time it for me?! I obviously know that more goes into a race than just chip times, but they really need to find a way to cut the costs of some of these things. I would love to run so many of them, but my poor wallet just can’t take it. Continue reading
